Obituary of Clinton Leslie Fulton

Talladega – Clinton Leslie Fulton, 71, a resident of Talladega, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Funeral service for Mr. Fulton will be on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at Usrey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Interment will be at Midway Memory Gardens.

Mr. Fulton was a 1965 graduate of Clay County High School. He was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam era, where he served as a transportation and communications specialist in Germany. Mr. Fulton studied at Gadsden State Community College and Jacksonville State University.  He was employed at Citizens Baptist Hospital, where he retired as Director of Human Resources after enjoying 31 years of service. After retirement, Mr. Fulton enjoyed yard work and gardening, especially growing roses. He loved Alabama football and bluegrass gospel music. Mr. Fulton was a devoted and loving husband, and a willing care giver to friends and loved ones.

Mr. Fulton is preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldean Fulton; infant son, Leslie Fulton; parents, Marvin and Hattie Fulton; and brother, Kenneth Fulton. He is survived by his wife, Connie Watts Fulton; stepsons, Jeremy Jones (Gwen), and Jarrett Jones (Melissa); granddaughters, Kaley Jones and Baylee Jones; nephew, Kenneth Fulton (Penny); niece, Lee Ann Rainy; and several great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers will be Randy Watts, Neil Watts, Dale Price, Richard Sellers, Walter Hamlin, and Dan Hamlin. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Lineville Health and Rehab. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
