Obituary of Gail Carmack Hendrick Brown

Alpine – Gail Carmack Hendrick Brown, 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Funeral Service for Patricia will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at Usrey Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Lanier Cemetery. Rev. David Rozelle will officiate the service.

Gail was a native and lifelong resident of Alpine, AL. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. She loved sewing, quilting, and embroidery and she was a loving and caring person.

She is survived by her sons, John Hendrick IV (Cindy) and James Hendrick; brothers, Junior Segrest and Harold Dean Carmack; sisters, Nadine Segrest, Annie Pearl Ruddy, and Sandra Echols; four grandchildren, Caleb Hendrick, Matthew Hendrick, Conner Hendrick, and Lauren Brannon; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Brown; brothers, Bo Segrest, Olan Segrest, Freddie Segrest Hart, J.P. Carmack, Lonnie Carmack, and Marrell Carmack.

 Pallbearers will be Caleb Hendrick, Matthew Hendrick, Conner Hendrick, Preston Carmack, Brian Carmack, and Jonathan Crowfoot. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ribbons of Hope.
