Obituary of Cayce Lamar Cash

Mr. Cayce Lamar Cash 72 of Ashville, Alabama passed away on November 18, 2018. Mr. Cash was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ashville and a humble servant of Jesus Christ. He retired as a Postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service after 28 1\2 years of service. Mr. Cash was a Vietnam veteran serving in combat and infantry. He served in active duty during Operation Enduring Freedom. He was also retired from the Alabama Army National Guard after 28 1\2 years of service. Mr. Cash was preceded in death by his parents William Carl Cash and Annie Zell Crowe Cash, his son Jeffery Lamar Cash and his brother Larry Cash. he is survived by his Wife, Cynthia Ann Cash, Sons, Joey (Tracy) Cash, Brian (Paige) Cash, Christopher (Deb) Reid Randall Reid, Sisters, Kay Tyler Cherrie Dobbins, Grandchildren, Jaci Cash, Corbin Cash, Cylas Cash Emma Reid. Services for Mr. Cash will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Ashville. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M at the church with interment in Pine Forest Cemetery. Bro. Jay Stewart and Bro. James Sampley will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Adam Cash, Derand Minton, Paul Rhoads, Gary Cone, Joe Sweat, and Calvin Bailey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund First Baptist Church of Ashville 85 5th Ave. Ashville, AL. 35953.
