Obituary of Beverly Diane Murner

Beverly Diane Murner of Talladega passed away at her home November 2^nd, 2018. A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 5^th, 2018 at Blankenship Cemetery in Munford with Barbara Embry officiating. Her family will receive friends, Sunday, November 4^th from 3:00 until 6:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.

Diane was a Phlebotonist with Brookwood for 26 years, a Baptist by faith, master gardener, loved cooking, loving mother, fun loving nanny, greatest mother-in-law, bossy sister, genealogist, loved riding through the mountains of Talladega County, tending rock gardens and compassion untold.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Susie Marler and her father, Clyde Owen Blankenship.

Her survivors include, daughter, Christy Perkins (Randy); sons, Michael Murner (Judy) and Tracy “Bo” Murner (Seneca); life partner of 32 years, Glenn Van Elders; mother Edna Christine Blankenship, brothers Dale Blankenship (Chris), Keith Blankenship (Michelle), Terry Blankenship; sisters, Phyllis Williams, Sheila Gentry (Roger) and Tena Turner; grandchildren, Robert Tyler Murner, Lauren Brooke Camp, Gracie Brooke Murner, Kaitlyn “Rosebud” Perkins, Lisa Pilkington and Kevin Pilkington; great-grandchildren, Chandler Smith, Aubie Raye Murner, Naomi Pilkington and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Matthew Gentry, Keith Blankenship, Kelly Blankenship, Robert Turner, Brian Marler and John Eric Robinson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Wesley Blankenship, Russell Bishop, Kevin Pilkington, Bobby Marler, Shea Brown, Adam Brown and Jeff Marler.
