Talladega – Johnny J. Cooper, 78, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018. Funeral Service for Mr. Cooper will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Rev. Daniel Bentley will officiate the service.

 

Mr. Cooper was a member of the Masonic Lodge #261.  He is preceded in death by his father Johnny B. Cooper; mother, Eva Cooper; and sister, Shirley Carr Cooper. He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Cooper; son, Johnny J. Cooper II (Amy); brother, Jerry G. Cooper; sister, Sandra Cooper Jones; and three grandchildren, Katie Cooper Adams, Drew D. Cooper, and Nathan T. Cooper. Pallbearers will be Jerry G. Cooper, Jerry G. Cooper Jr., George Thomas Jackson, Drew D. Cooper, Nathan T. Cooper, and Johnny J. Cooper II. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph C. Ballow, Charles “Sonny” Blankenship, and Rodney Hart.
