Obituary of Glena Sue Shockley

Mrs. Glena Sue Shockley, 73, of Sterrett, Alabama passed away on October 19, 2018 in Birmingham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Shockley; son, William Ray Shockley; daughter, Gail Shockley McDonald; parents, J.D. and Virginia Smith; sister, Mellie Smith; brothers, Larry, Wayne, Wesley, and Calvin Smith.

She is survived by her children, Ray (Elaine) Shockley, Johnny Shockley, Lorenda (Kenny) Moor, Jerry "Bobo" (Donna) Shockley, Rena (John) Douglas, Shena (Patrick) Ashworth, daughter-in-law, Linda Shockley, 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great- grandchildren; sisters, Bonnell (Eugene) Schell, Elizabeth (Roy) Robinson; brothers, Luvon (Faye) Smith, Len "Liz" Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday October 24, 2018 at Sterrett Church of God of Prophecy with Bro.Tim Douglas and Bro. RIch Ables officiating.

Interment will follow at Lawley's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the church.
