Obituary of Emma Catherine Battles

Mrs. Emma Catherine Battles, 73, of Trussville, Alabama went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2018.

She was a loving wife,a sweet and gentle mother, and a loyal friend.  She will be dearly missed.  She was preceded in death by her father, William Chauppette; mother, Evelyn McGraw; her precious daughters, Sheila Ingram Turner and Kimberly Ingram Griffin; and her son, Randy Ingram.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Battles; daughters, Gina Ingram and Sherry A. Ingram; grandchildren, Seth Sanders, Morgan Griffin, Darrion Evans, and Colin Shane Carkhuff; great-grandchildren Somer Sanders, Preslie Sanders, Jacob Ingram and Preston Sanders; great-great-grandson, Champion Pouncy; and a sister, Wanda Gassaway.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with Bro. Roger Kendrick officiating. Interment will follow at Hardin's Chapel Cemetery.
