Obituary of Katherine Waters Downey

Mrs. Katherine Waters Downey, 81, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on September 24, 2018 in Pell City.

Mrs. Downey was a member of Ragland First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Waters.

She is survived by her daughters, Gina Bunt (Jeff) and Laurie Trimm (John); sons, Steve Waters (Cheryl) and Scott Waters (Audra); three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.　

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday September 27, 2018 at Ragland First Baptist Church with the Rev. Edwin Talley and the Rev. Doug Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Box Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
