Obituary of Violet "Louise" Blackerby

Munford – Violet “Louise” Blackerby, 89, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018. Funeral services for Mrs. Blackerby will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Interment will be at Eastaboga Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Rutledge will be officiating the service.

Ms. Blackerby was a lifelong resident of Munford, AL. She was a member of Jenifer Baptist Church. She was a mother who loved her family and also loved life. She is survived by her children, Linda Mace (Jack), James Johnson (Vickie), Charles Johnson (Jeannie), Ronnie Blackerby (Jane), and Joey Blackerby (Motacha); grandchildren, Steve Mace (Tracey), Shannon Wing (Judd), Jamie Webber, Veronica Blackerby, Erick Blackerby, Logan Blackerby, Alison Gilliam, and Tim Gilliam; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
