My mom was such an amazing woman. Though legally blind due to macular degeneration, it didn't stop her from enjoying life. Mom was a fantastic cook! She liked preparing new recipes for her family to try. Mom had many friends and absolutely loved the time and activities as part of the Daughters of the Nile. She was a member of the "Hillbilly Band" that played at senior centers and various other venues. She was deeply dedicated and respectful to the ceremonies of the Daughters. I and your grandchildren, Lori and Wes, plus your only great-granddaughter, Taylor will forever love and miss you. Be at peace Mom.
