Obituary of Robert Edward Harrison

Talladega - Robert Edward Harrison of Talladega, formerly of Marietta, GA, passed away at home on August 17, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Ed was born in La Grange, GA. He worked for Lockheed, GA selling the C-130 transport airplane all over the world. Ed was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia. He loved golf, tennis, reading, and listening to music. His heart’s desire was to know God and make Him known.

Ed is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Moore Harrison; sons Ed Harrison Jr., Michael Harrison (Kathleen), Pat Harrison, Will Harrison (Ellie); daughter, Beth Best; grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Talladega on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11:00 am. Rev Robert Klotz will officiate the service. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Talladega.
