Obituary of Jerry Lee McBurnett

Talladega – Jerry Lee McBurnett, 75, passed away on August 17, 2018. Memorial Service for Mr. McBurnett will be on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 1:00pm. Rev. James Hance will officiate the service.

Mr. McBurnett was a lifelong resident of Talladega. He retired from Newbury Foundry after working 38 years. He also was a softball coach in the Talladega area for over 30 years.

Mr. McBurnett is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor McBurnett; and his sister, Emily Francis Pettus.  He is survived by his daughter, Tosha McBurnett; and sister, Hellen Cotton. A special thank you to Southern Care Hospice, Vontrella Truss and Jessica Channell. Pallbearers will be Greg Pettus, Bo Matson, Brian Corbett, Brandon Quarells, Donald Evans, and Barry Owens.
