Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Gaither Roberts

Mary Elizabeth Gaither Roberts, 87 of Talladega passed away August 11, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Friday August 17, 2018 at Stockdale Baptist Church with burial in adjoining cemetery. Rev. Kevin Jones will officiate the service. Mrs. Roberts was a lifelong member of Stockdale Baptist Church and was retired from Citizens Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents Erie and Pauline Gaither and son Brian Kelly Roberts.

She is survived by her daughter Debra Roberts Pennington (Larry), son Jinky Roberts, grandson Chris Clowers (Betsy) sister Frances Curlee (Bo), brothers John Gaither (Rachel), Blake Gaither. Pallbearers will be Robert Townsend, Boyd Allen, Earl Kent, Wayne Scoggins, Wayne Stoffregen and Davy Gaither. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Curlee, Tommy Curlee, Terry Gaither, Mark Gaither and Richard Gaither.  Usrey Funeral home Talladega will direct.
