Mrs. Shirley Ann Echols, 82, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on August 4, 2018 in Birmingham.

Mrs. Echols was a member of Gray's Chapel Baptist Church. She loved God, her family, cooking and taking care of people. Mrs. Echols was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace W. Echols; a son, Rodney Echols; father, Mancil Davis; mother, Nellie Davis; and brothers, J.R Davis and J.L. Davis.

She is survived by four daughters, Judy Edgeworth (Kelly), Kathy Echols, Louvenia Layton and Sherrie Evans (Bruce); son, Jeff Echols (Shaleene); sister, Lois Hannah (Charlie); grandchildren, Matthew Edgeworth, Brett Evans (Jessica), Whitney Taylor (Bradley), Brooke Beene (Alex), Kailey Echols and Grant Echols; great-grandchildren, MaHaylee Evans, Peyson Evans, Chloe Taylor, and Elandra Kate Beene; and by several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. Doug Ford and the Rev. Ted St.John officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Hannah, Ray Hannah, Bradley Taylor, Jason Parsons, Durrell Wayne Campbell and Jimmy Higginbotham. Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Davis and Shane Bean.
