Obituary of Richard Hunter Bell

Mr. Richard Hunter Bell, 67, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on July 29, 2018 in Birmingham.

Mr. Bell was an all county and all area basketball player at Pell City High School. He attended Jefferson State Community College on a baseball scholarship and graduated from Jacksonville State University with a degree in Business Administration. He worked with his father in construction and later became a realtor, developer and home builder. He was the owner of Bell Hardware and Bell Realty in Pell City.

He is survived by his daughters, Melanie Bell, Candice Shaw (Cody Goggins) and Christina Caldwell (Alan); son, Richard Hunter Bell, Jr.; sister, Dianne Fisher (John)b Brothers, Mack Bell (Brenda) and Rex Bell; and grandchildren, Emily, Jorie, Tristan, Chloe, Ian, Jarrett and Brooklynn.　

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday August 1, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rheumatoid Arthritis research.
