Obituary of Adelia "Dee" Bradford Cheatwood

Talladega - Adelia “Dee” Bradford Cheatwood, 67, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at RMC Anniston Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Cheatwood will be on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 am at Usrey Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Davy Gaither will officiate the service. Graveside services will be private.

Dee graduated from Winterboro High School in 1968. She was an active member of the Plank Road Station, where she was known as the homemade fried apple pie lady. She worked most of her life as a florist. Dee also enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, as well as copying recipes to share with others.

Mrs. Cheatwood is preceded in death by her parents, Herman “Red” Bradford and Mary Lucille Bradford. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Russell Cheatwood; children, Todd Cheatwood (Pam), and Jenni Warlick (Brandon); grandchildren, Devan Huffaker, Colby Cheatwood (Amber), Jacob Warlick, Lauren Warlick, and Isabella Cheatwood; great-grandchildren, Easton Blocker and Madalynn Cheatwood.
