Graveside services for Edward H. "Ted" Roberts, Jr. will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014, 10:00 AM at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Father Ben Turnage officiating. Mr. Roberts passed away May 10, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Roberts was a lifelong resident of Talladega. He was a graduate of THS Class of 1967 and attended The University of Alabama. He was a faithful member of St. Peters Episcopal Church and a longtime employee of Piggly Wiggly Grocery in Talladega.
Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. E.H. Roberts and Katherine Roberts. He is survived by his sister, Suzy Fairchild, brother, David Roberts, sister, Kate Powell, sister, Jean Tate, brother, Duncan Roberts, and special friend and neighbor Joyce Gardner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to The Restoration Fund of St. Peters Episcopal Church, P.O. box 206, Talladega, AL 35161.
