Obituary of Charlotte Carter Hendrick

Charlotte Carter Hendrick passed away on Friday, July 6^th, 2018. Mrs. Hendrick’s funeral will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, July 8^th, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Johnny Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at Usrey for one hour prior to service.

Mrs. Hendrick was a member of Clare Purcell United Methodist Church and was married to the late Mr. Raymond Hendrick for 66 years. The valedictorian at Winterboro High School in 1951. She loved reading, cooking, being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mancle and Sadie Carter; brothers, Dwight, Neil and Marion Carter.

Mrs. Hendrick is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Jerry) Hartsfield, Melissa (Stanley) Cook, Gloria (Frank) Thomas, Angel (Mark) Luker; brothers, Ken (Ozaline) Carter, Mitchell (Jannia) Carter, Roger (Janie) Carter; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.

Honorary pallbearer will be Barney Gary.

The family would like to offer a special "Thank You" to the doctors, nurses and staff at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham for the care they provided.
