Obituary of Mary Kemp Watts

Funeral services for Mary Kemp Watts, 81, will be Saturday at 2:30 pm at Usrey Funeral Home chapel. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 2:15 pm. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her nephew and son of her loving sister Shelby, Dustin Brown, will lead services.

 Mrs. Watts passed away June 30th at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL. A native of Talladega, she was known for her business Mary’s Barber Shop which she enjoyed until she retired and returned home with her family in Mokena, Illinois in 2013. Mrs. Watts was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Mary is preceded in death by her Husband James A. Watts, and siblings, Shelby Brown, Little Johnny, Willie, Bob, and Eddie Kemp. Mary is survived by her only daughter Crystal Monica O’Donnell (Watts) of Mokena, IL; her son in law, John Kerry O’Donnell Sr; her brother, Jim (Addie) Kemp of Talladega; her four grandchildren, John (Erin) O’Donnell Jr., Brandice (Greg) O’Donnell, James O’Donnell, and Daniel O’Donnell; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. She was also a loving great grandmother to three great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mary’s name to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation.
