Obituary of Jeffery Dwight Rutledge

Mr. Jeffery Dwight Rutledge, 55, of Pell CIty, Alabama passed away on June 25, 2018 in Birmingham.

Mr. Rutledge was a member of Refuge Baptist Church. He was a volunteer with the Wattsville Fire Department for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved his family very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sarah Rutledge; and a brother, Michael Rutledge.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rutledge; daughter, Krystin Whidden (Myles); sons, Brandon Rutledge, Jeremy Rutledge, Jason Rutledge (Kerrie) and Ethan Evans; sisters, Regina Walker (Ron) and Denise Pate (Whitt); brothers, Bobby Rutledge (Lola Mae), Richard Rutledge and Shane Rutledge (Deedee); and eleven grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday June 27, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. Matt Dickerson and the Rev. Vint Arnold officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:30 - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
