Emogene Wingo Pettis, age 91, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Graveside service for Mrs. Pettis will be on Sunday at 2:00 pm Blue Eye Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Pettis was a native of Eastaboga and a resident of Talladega since 1980. She was a member of the Ridgeview Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Louie Vance Pettis; five brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Pettis is survived by her daughter, Wanda McPherson (Bill); son, Louie Pettis (Alicia); four grandchildren, Julie Wall, Jennifer Gipson, Shannon Heard, and Wayne Goray; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
