Obituary of Michael Vernon Alward

Mr. Michael Vernon Alward, 66, of Lincoln passed away in Birmingham on June 15, 2018.

Mr. Alward was retired from Anniston Army Depot where he served for many years on the Depot Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Clara Alward; brother, Bobby Alward; and grandson, Brayden Alward.

Mr. Alward is survived by his sons, Anthony Alward and Brett Alward; brothers, Gene (Marsha) Alward and Pat (Bitsy) Alward; sister-in-law, Brenda Alward; granddaughters, Shelby Dunaway, Blakely Alward, and Baylee Alward; grandsons, Grayson Alward, Garrett Alward, Levi Alward, and Mattix Easterwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home of Pell City with the Rev. Randolph Scott officiating. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City on Friday, June 22, 2018, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
