Obituary of Lester Ray Talton

Lester Ray Talton, 81, passed away May 18, 2018 in Pensacola, Fl. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 21st, 2018 at Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega. Craig Little will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home.

Mr. Talton was born in Lincoln, Al. and was a perfectionist within his trade of masonry and brick laying, he loved Alabama Football, hunting, fishing, horseshoes and dancing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Talton, Gladys Brim Smith and sister, Ruby Allen.

Lester is survived by his wife, Hilda Talton; daughters, Tammy Talton, Anna (John Murphy) Akins; granddaughter, Lorelei M. Trammell; grandsons, Jerry W. Trammell, Yannik Koepenick; great-granddaughters, Emma Kate, Anna Claire and Lydia Rose.

Pallbearers will be John Murphy Akins, Ronnie Ellis, Jason Hollingsworth, Jonathan Tyler, Guy Sergi and Ricky Price.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Parton and John Curry.
