Obituary of Betty McVey

Goodwater – Betty McVey, 83, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2018. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with David Rozelle officiating. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park.

Mrs. McVey was a native of Talladega and spent most of her life in Talladega. She moved to Goodwater, AL since 2002. She was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church in Alexander City. Mrs. McVey also retired from AIDB.

Mrs. McVey is survived by her husband, Robert McVey; son, James Driggers; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Tony McVey.

Pallbearers will be Alex Bengles, Ken Dawson, Landon Peters, Colby Peters, Derek McVey, Simon Driggers, and Seth Driggers.
