I still can’t believe I’m having to write condolences for him. I met Dennis not long after I started working out at the gym in Riverside. We worked out many times together and would always talk when we were working out separately. Over several years we became pretty good friends and spent many hours helping each other through some rough times. I’ll never forget that he paid me one of the highest compliments that I’ve ever received even from closer friends! I didn’t see just how much of a compliment that it truly was until later and at the time I thought it was strange! He tried to fix me up with his ex wife! When I laughed and said “you must be kidding” he said “no pal, I’m very serious”. I asked him why he would want to do that he told me in so many words that he really didn’t care for some of the guys that she had gone out with. Still not buying it I told him that it would be wierd for me if we hit it off and ended up together with he and I being friends. I said “wouldn’t that be strange for you?” and then came what I’ll always remember. He looked me dead in the face and said “maybe a little but I know that you’re a good man and I would know my children would be taken care of and have a great role model to look up to and that their mom would be treated like a lady”. After he explained his reasoning I was truly humbled and though in the last few years we weren’t as close as we had been, he was a true friend and I will always remember that compliment. RIP my friend....

Dearest Children and Wife's of Dennis(Brandi and Lynn) and his Father- Dennis Sr., My Family and I have always Loved Dennis and felt such a Heartbreak in finding out this news ... He was a wonderful Loving Long time Friend, that we will miss so much! Praying for all of you and other Family as you go thru this Time! We were so Blessed to have known this Wonderful Guy we knew and May he have Peace in Heaven now along with his Mother-Glenda -Who we also Loved so much! . Love ,Hugs and much Prayer for all! My condolences on your loss. Dennis was one of kind. I worked beside him and supervised and trained with him when he was a part-time officer with PCPD. He was always soooo squared away in uniform and kept his patrol car immaculate. So sorry for your loss.
