Obituary of Lucius Brewster Edwards Jr.

Lucius Brewster Edwards Jr., 85 of Lincoln Al. passed away May 3, 2018 Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Monday May 7, 2018 at Dry Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Stanley Jett will officiate the service. His family will receive friends at Dry Valley Baptist Church From 1:00 – 2:00pm Monday.  He retired from Alabama Power Company in 1998 after 48 years as a Local Operations Lineman. Retired in 2002 as the President of I.B.E.W. local 391. He is preceded in death by his parents Lucius B. Edwards Sr. and Mary Alice Gammon Edwards, sisters Betty Jane Edwards, Marilyn Brewster Edwards Thompson and Ella Anys Edwards Barrett. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Anne Wright Edwards, daughters Connie Loraine Edwards Turner (Michael), Christie Lynn Edwards Camp (Charles), sons James Brewster Edwards, David Brewster Edwards (Kimberly) grandchildren Yevett Lee Edwards, Jillian Sumer Redding, Kenneth Brewster Edwards, Juliet Anna Redding Holtsclaw and Savannah Lee Edwards, great grandchildren Westley Crockett Word, Maggie Elizabeth Word and Addison Grace Holtsclaw and sister Jan Beth Edwards Dennard. Pallbearers will be Curtis Durham, Jackie Tyse, Alan Wagnon, Westley Word, Charles Camp and Bob Phillips. In Lieu of flowers send memorials to Dry Valley Baptist Church. Usrey Funeral Home Talladega will direct.
