Obituary of Edna Bell Gilliland

Ragland – Edna Bell Gilliland, age 87, passed away on Wednesday April 25, 2018. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Hepzibah Cemetery. Rev. Beaver Tinsley and Bro. Doug Ford will be officiating.

Mrs. Gilliland was a native and lifelong citizen of Talladega. She was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. Mrs. Gilliland retired from Image Yarn Mills.

She is survived by her step-son, Jim Gilliland; three grandchildren Toni Viator, Jamie McDaniel, Michael Haynes Jr. (Erin) seven great-grandchildren; nieces, Vicki Layton (Bunky); Robin Hurst, Debbie Studdard, and Tammy Studdard, one nephew Steve Hutton (Tina). She is preceded in death by her two sons, Mike and Ricky Haynes. Pallbearers will be Michael Haynes Jr, Chase Smith, Jim Gilliland, Lonnie Gardner, Matt Gardner, and Chris Gardner. Honorary pallbearers are Justin and Owen Wilson, Steve Hutton.
