Obituary of Billy Dempsey "Bill" Franklin

Mr. Billy Dempsey "Bill" Franklin, 91, of Ashville, Alabama passed away on April 22, 2018 in Ashville.

Mr. Franklin was a former St. Clair County Commisioner. He was a member of Ashville Masonic Lodge, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Ashville.

He is survived by his wife, Billye Wise Franklin; son, Lynn Franklin;  grandchildren Leigh Ann Martin (David), Jeremy Scott Franklin and their mother, Jane Franklin; great- grandchildren, Elizabeth Franklin, Victoria Franklin and their mother Mary Franklin,  and Reese Martin.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday April 26, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. Jay Stewart and Dr. James Sampley officiating. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 25, 2018, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
