Obituary of Marcene Ford Grizzell

Mrs. Marcene Ford Grizzell, 84, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on April 15, 2018 in Ragland.　

Mrs. Grizzell was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church for 64 years, serving the church in many capacities. She was employed as a clerk at Champion Drugs in Ragland for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Maudie Ford; husband Herbert Grizzell; daughter Teresa Bunt; and a grandson Jeremy Bunt.

She is survived by her daughters, Sue Day (Ricky) and Shelia McKinney (John); son, Dennis Grizzell (Brenda); sister, Betty Wimpee; brothers, Jack Ford (Joan) and Mike Ford (Jan); grandchildren, Chrystal (Rusty) St. John, Keith (Melissa) Day, Angel (Kevin) Trammell, D.J. (Brittany) Grizzell, Tabitha (Kevin) Surles, Brittany (Cadet) Byers and Shelby McKinney; great-grandchildren, Rachel & Lexi St. John, Sammie & Ashley Day, Austin, Nathan & Lela Trammell, Bella Grizzell, Riley, Lenzi & Camron Surles, and a great-granddaughter that will be here in June.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday April 17, 2018 at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Ford officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City.

Pallbearers will be Keith Day, Rusty St. John, D.J. Grizzell, Austin Trammell, Kevin Surles and Mike Ford.
