Mr. Paul G. Kendall, 83, passed away on April 7, 2018 in Ragland. The family will receive friends at Ragland First Baptist Church from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018. The funeral service will be held at Ragland First Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 with Rev. Edwin Talley and Rev. Ted St. John officiating. Burial will follow at Box Cemetery in Ragland.
Mr. Kendall was a deacon at Ragland First Baptist Church. He also was a former deacon at Walker's Chapel Baptist Church in Fultondale. He was a volunteer for foreign and home missions. He served as a Sergeant MP in the United States Army. He worked for 43 years at Volvo GMC Trucks of Birmingham and for 6 years in the construction industry.
Mr. Kendall is survived by his wife, Dixie Kendall; sons, Alan Kendall, Kevin Kendall, Shaun Kendall, and Daniel Kendall; daughters, Asia Marie Kendall and Amanda Kendall Trammell; sister, Reba Denney; 3 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Kendall was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Kendall, and his sister, Jo Helen Kendall.
Pallbearers will be Eddy Davis, Bert Broome, Hector Enriquez, David Denny, Daniel Shaddix, John Trammell, Matthew Trammell, and Jakolbe Brewster.
