Obituary of Donald Eugene Wideman Sr.

Donald Eugene Wideman Sr., 77 of Alpine passed away March 25, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm March 28, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Alpine Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Sims will officiate the services. His family will receive friends Tuesday March 27, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Wideman had a great love for faming. He was known as the best supervisor around the house. Mr. Wideman worked for over 40 years at the Flour Daniels Mill. He was raised on a dairy farm and was known as a jack of all trades. He was the best brother and dad ever!

He is survived by his wife Patsy Faye McDonald Wideman, daughters Rachel Holdridge (Stanley), Renae Prickett (Chris), sons Donald Wideman Jr. (Dee), Timmy Wideman (Cindy), Tony Wideman, Mike Wideman (Tammy), Ronnie Wideman (Sandra), sisters Sandra McDowell (Mark), Glenda Herrington, Linda Davis, brothers Buddy Wideman (Chris), Terry Wideman and Gary Wideman (Debra) and a host grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
