Obituary of Inez Wyatt McWilliams
Mrs. Inez Wyatt McWilliams passed away peacefully on March 22, 2018 at the age of 94, having been born in Talladega County May 18, 1923.
She will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends, loved for being a sweet, kind, unselfish lady and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She touched many, many lives daily with her sweet smile and true Christian example of faith, love and generosity. She was the best mom her family could have ever wished for, and she will be dearly missed.
For most of her life, Inez was active in Stockdale Baptist Church, until a few years ago when, due to illness, she became a resident of The Seasons of Talladega assisted living.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Alton McWilliams, her parents Jesse M. and Sallie Wyatt, as well as six brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two sons, Arthur W. McWilliams (Liz), Jerry F. McWilliams and daughter, Teresa McWilliams Bussie (Glenn), along with eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike McWilliams, Johnny McWilliams, William Burk Wyatt, John C. Wyatt, Andrew O’Conner, and Chad Carr. Honorary pallbearers are John C. Wyatt, Sean M. McWilliams, M.D., Greg McWilliams, and Phil McWilliams.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Kevin Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 before services at the Usrey Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Affinity Home Hospice, 216 Aquarius Dr., Suite 306, Birmingham, AL 35209.
