Obituary of Thurman Jerald Clardy

Mr. Clardy passed away April 25, 2014 at Citizens Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was the owner/operator of Jerald's Alignment for 36 years. He is preceded in death by his father William Thurman Clardy Jerald was a wonderful husband, loving and proud father and a tip-top grandfather. Jerald is survived by his wife of 45 years Phyllis Clardy, sons, Brandon Clardy (April), Rob Clardy (Kera), grandchildren, Parker Clardy, Gallic Clardy, and Reagan Clardy, mother, Hazel Wylodean Clardy, sisters, Brenda Hallman and Dorothy Gallahar (Stan), along with numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful dog "Sally". Pallbearers will be Steve Hurst, Jimmy Banks, Tommy Smith, Scott Taylor, Mike Henley and Mike Challender. All past and present employees of Jerald's Alignment, who are like family, will serve as honorary pallbearers. Dr. Sam Tate, Rev. Bob Blankenship, and Steve Hurst will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Sunday from 5-7 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega.
