Obituary of Doris M. Hamlin

Doris Miller Hamlin, 86 of formally of Talladega passed away March 17, 2018. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Wednesday March 21, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pine Hill Memorial Park, Richard Watts will officiate the service. Her family will receive friends Wednesday at funeral home from 1-2pm. Mrs. Hamlin was retired from The Presbyterian Home for Children, Member of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church in Athens Al. and a former member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, she was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega.

 She was preceded in death by husband James H. Hamlin, five sisters and one brother. Survivors include daughter Kathy Marie Watts (Timothy), son Mike Hamlin (Iris), grandchildren Jane Ziemer, Charles Ziemer, Richard Watts (Kelli), Michael Watts (Amira), Heather Brown (Travis), nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial donations can be made to The American Cancer Society or The Child Evangelism Fellowship (North Alabama Chapter)
