Obituary of Robert H. Tanner,Jr.

Robert Hosea Tanner Jr. 85 of Tuscaloosa passed away March 4, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday March 9, 2018 at Pine Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. Rev. Keith Pugh will officiate service.

Mr. Tanner was a native of Talladega where he graduated Talladega High School in 1950, attended The University of Alabama, veteran of the Korean War, retired from Metropolitan Insurance Company, member of Life Underwriters Association and Sons of Confederate  Veterans.   

Mr. Tanner is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Vincent. He is survived by his son, Robert H. Tanner III; grandson, Robert Matthew Tanner; sister, Kathryn Johnston; great-granddaughter, Eme Tanner; two brothers-in-law, Louie Vincent, Jerry Johnston; and several nieces and nephews.
