Obituary of George L. Weldon

George L. Weldon, 77 of Talladega passed away February 24, 2018. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday February 28, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home with burial in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Brother Jerry Lackey will officiate service. His family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:30 – 8:00pm.

He was preceded in death by his parents George s. and Jesse Mae Weldon, brother Bob Weldon, sister Barbara Lackey and granddaughter Savannah Weldon.

He is survived by his wife Linda Weldon, son Robert Weldon (Mary), Alan Weldon (Emily) son George Weldon, sister Virginia Shephard (Tommy), seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Sewell, Ray Sewell, Patrick Cosby, Brian Cosby, Gary Barker and Larry Barker. Honorary Pallbearers Wayne Barker, Rodger Barker and Rodney Mayo. Usrey Funeral Home Talladega will direct.
