Obituary of Jasper Ottis Watts

Munford – Jasper Ottis Watts, age 73, passed away on February 19, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 22. 2018 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home with burial following at Midway Memory Gardens. Gary Plummer will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home.

Mr. Watts was a native of Clay County. He has lived in Talladega County for the last 45 years. He worked for many textile mills and retired from Bemis Textile. He was known as the “Clockman” for working and repairing antique clocks. He is survived by special mother, Nettie Gaither; sister, Janice Knapp; 6 nephews and 2 nieces.

Pall bearers will be Steve Peoples, Tommy Trussell, Michael Watts, Jason Watts, Jerry Moore, and Alex Knapp.
