Obituary of Rodney Darrell Meads

Mr. Rodney Darrell Meads, 66, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on February 13, 2018 in Ragland.

Mr. Meads enjoyed fishing and collecting miniature trains. He operated trains at US steel for 29 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Maggie Meads; brothers, Roger Meads and Larry Bice; sisters-in-law, Julie Bice and Helen Bice.

He is survived by his son, Jeremy Darrell Meads (Mary); sister, Charlotte Williams (Dane); brothers, Gilbert Bice and Bill Meads, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.　

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday February 16, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. Stanley W. Layton officiating. Interment will follow at Box Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
