Obituary of Jacqueline Searcy Kitchen

Graveside service for Jacqueline Searcy “Jackie” Kitchen, of Alpine, will be Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mark Ledbetter will officiate. Her family will receive friends at the church from 1-2 pm on Saturday. Ms. Kitchen passed away April 23, 2014 in Talladega. Jackie was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a former employee of Miller-Sutherlin of Pell City. She is preceded in death by her father Henry T. Searcy, Jr. Her survivors include her loving daughter, Ginger Staude, 3 grandchildren, Tyler and Peyton Hallmark and Addison Staude, all of Talladega, mother, Inez Searcy, sister, Deborah Searcy, brother, Henry T. Searcy, III (Tony), all of Alpine, aunts and uncles, Robert (Maudie) Mellon, Jimmy (Charlaine) Mellon and Sara Henderson, all of Talladega, Joe (Shirley) Mellon of Oxford, Maretta (Frank) Hall and Wayne (Faye) Mellon, of Talladega, and special son, Chris Hallmark of Alpine. The family would like to express a special thanks to New Beacon Hospice and all of their special caregivers along with her aunts and uncles who were there during this difficult time. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be sent to The American Cancer Society in Jackie’s honor. Pallbearers will be Tyler Hallmark, Chris Hallmark, Trae Hallmark, Ronnie Hall, Bob Mellon and Jamie Cooper.Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Mellon, Jimmy Mellon, Joe Mellon, Frank Hall and Wayne Mellon.
