Obituary of Douglas Joseph McGuire

Douglas Joseph McGuire, 38, passed away February 7, 2018. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Cosby officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, February 9, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Douglas was a native and lifelong resident of Munford. He was very active with his children, coaching and being a part of their lives in youth sports. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Christina; son, William Joseph; daughter, Carleigh Marie; son, Christopher Douglas; father, Charles; mother, Sarah; brother, Charles “Bippy” (Roxanne) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Douglas is preceded in death by his grandfather, William J. McGuire; nephew, Jared Gardner and mother-in-law, Mary Beth Rick.

Pallbearers will be Charles “Bippy” McGuire, Pete Lackey, Adam Lackey, Josh Lackey, Wayne Gardner and Gene Hood.
