Obituary of Earl Edward "Big Daddy" Benfield

Mr. Earl Edward "Big Daddy" Benfield, 80, of Vincent, Alabama passed away January 8, 2018 in Vincent.　

Mr. Benfield was a member of the American Legion in Tarrant and the F&AM Gardendale Lodge. He was a retired Teamster and served as a Steward.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Hathcock Benfield; daughters, Lynn Kerr, Robin Glenn (Rodney) and Leslie Layton (Wayne); son, Earl Edward Benfield, II (Kim); brother, Don Benfield (Ethel); 6 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren.　

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday January 12, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. Ed Talley and the Rev. Stanley Layton officiating. Interment will follow at Box Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 - 2:00 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tarrant American Legion.
