Obituary of Harold Douglas Maddox

Harold Douglas Maddox, 84, passed away December 28, 2017.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Munford Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.

Mr. Maddox was a U.S. veteran, avid Bama fan, loved racing cars and playing ball.

He is survived by his daughter, Connie Maddox Goodwin (Dennis); son, Bart D. Maddox (Betty); sister, Christine Polk; grandchildren, Lori Marie Horn (Peter), Jill Marie Morrow, James D. Maddox and Jacob D. Maddox.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Marie Maddox and son, Danny Harold Maddox.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Goodwin, Peter Horn III, James D. Maddox, Ray Mabrey, Jacob D. Maddox and Greg Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Clay County Nursing Home Memory Care Unit.
