Obituary of Sonya Starr Bryant

Sonya Starr Bryant, of Center Point, AL was currently living in Talladega, AL passed away December 17, 2017 at the age of 55. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 7, 2017 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. Sonya was a homemaker for most of her life.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Kenneth Starr Sr.; brother, James Kenneth Starr Jr.; and grandson, Christian Bentley Sisson. She is survived by her husband, James Michael Bryant; mother, Amy Virginia Angeline Champion Starr; children, Brandie Gilbert (Blair), Ammie Sisson (Jeff), William Sisson (Megan), step-daughter, Kelli Bryant and six grandchildren, Kyla Gilbert, Devin Gilbert, Derick Sisson, Demitri Sisson, Bryson Gilbert, Jayce Britton and two on the way Mylee Sisson and Olivia Sisson; sister, Tonya Starr Bryant (Dan); nephews, David and Stephen Bryant, Jason Starr (Brittani); and two great-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital or ASPCA.
