Name: Mrs. Juanita Church Smith Age: 81 Residence: Cropwell, Alabama Date of Death: April 17, 2014 Place of Death: Birmingham Background: Mrs. Smith was retired from the Shelby County Board of Education. She was a member of Pell City First United Methodist Church, the Varona Perry Fellowship Sunday School Class, a volunteer with the Pell City UMC Christian Outreach, a volunteer with Relay for Life of Pell City, and a member of the Pell City Library Guild. She accompanied her husband on numerous trips to visit local retired units when he served on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Education Retirees' Association. The family would like to thank the physicians and employees of the Brookwood Hospital Cardiovascular Surgical ICU.
