Dear family,
Gilbert was a part of my life, my entire life. He and I shared a birthdate and we always talked about that. We joked about "putting our pennies" in the little church on our birthday Sunday. Gilbert was a wonderful man and a man I looked up to my entire life. My earliest memories were of him and Patricia at Broken Arrow Church. I remember the first time they brought their new baby girl to church. People "ohhh and awed" and everyone said she looked like Gilbert, her dad! Both Patricia and Gail were wearing light blue dresses that day! Your eyes were blue, Gail! Such pride!! I was just a little "snot" then, probably about 10 years old, but we all loved you so much! It's funny how we were all family back in those days!
Yes, Heaven got a bright star the day Gilbert entered the kingdom.
Much love to the family!!
