Obituary of Hazel Wylodean Clardy

Funeral services for Hazel Wylodean Clardy will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Tate officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thurman Clardy and son, Jerald Clardy

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Perry (Joe) and Dorothy Gallahar (Stan), daughter in law, Phyllis Clardy, 6 grandchildren, Brandon Clardy, Rob Clardy (fiancée Ashley), Jeff Hallman (Lily), Jason Hallman, Crystal Halcomb (Greg) and Kyle Gallahar ( Rosanne), 8 great-grandchildren who she loved very much.

A native of Lamar County, Mrs. Clardy lived in Talladega since 1951. She was a good loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook, sew, and be a devoted member to the Central Baptist Church. She especially loved her "Glorybound" Sunday school class. She worked at Bemis Bag Co. until her retirement.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Brandon Clardy, Rob Clardy, Jeff Hallman, Jason Hallman,Kyle Gallahar, and Greg Halcomb.
