Obituary of Suzanne Watts Champion

Suzanne Watts Champion, 70, of Munford passed away at her home on Wednesday October 11, 2017. Funeral services will be at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. Ray Camp will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Munford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Usrey from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

 

Suzanne was a native and lifelong resident of Munford, AL. She was a member at Munford Baptist Church and a retired school teacher from Stemley Elementary. Suzy was also a breast cancer survivor.

 

She is survived by her sons; Phil Champion (Christi), Duke Champion (Chrissy), Scott Champion (Tracy), her daughter; Apryl Wynn (Jamey), Brother; Jack Watts, all of Munford. Her beloved dog; Petey and lifelong friend Glennice Lackey. Grandchildren; Serra Acker (Joshua), Lauren Champion, Jolie Champion, Alyssa Champion, Caleb Stephens, Cassidy Wynn, Carlyn Champion, Belle Stephens, Desiree Burdick, Draven Burdick, Austin Wynn, Chloe Alarcon and great grandchild; Kayden Alexander.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Earl D. and Sara Nell Parnell Watts.

 

Honorary pall bearers will be the daughters of Ruth Sunday school class.
