Obituary of William Arthur Collier,Jr.

William Arthur Collier, Jr. 56, Talladega, Alabama. He passed away September 29, 2017 at his
residence. He has left this world, but he never will be forgotten. Memorial service will be held at Usrey Funeral Home 4:00pm Tuesday October 3, 2017. His family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00pm at funeral home. Pastor Cal McIntire will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Bethlehem Methodist Church in Munford. Mr. Collier preceded in death by his mother, Barbara A. Collier. He is survived by his father William A. Collier Sr., sister Juanita Collier; son Cody Collier; nephew Tim Stoffregen; niece Mikayla (Michael) Cooper. He has a host of cousins as well. He began working at Wehadkee Yarn Mill in the early eighties. Started as a yarn man, working himself up to supervisor. He worked there over twenty-five years. As the cotton mills began closing;  he went to work for Honda Manufacturing; there until his death. He was an advent Alabama fan. During football season, he yelled roll tide, baby. He enjoyed riding in the mountains. His favorite place was Skyline Drive, off Cheaha; also loved collecting old coins and collecting models. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct services.
