Obituary of Vencin Parker "Woody" Wood

~Mr. Vencin Parker Wood, 84, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on September 10, 2017 in Ragland.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Wood; daughter, Patricia Law; sons, Noel (Stacey) Wood, Patrick Wood and Ben Wood; sister, Juanita Martin; brother, Charles Wood; stepchildren, Byron Sanders and Jan (Palmer) Murry; grandchildren, Chris Wood, Jesse Wood, Caleb Wood,  Emery Wood, Kai Wood, Ethan Wood, Jason (Michelle) Law, Heath (Kelly) Sanders, Mason Sanders, Jackson Sanders and Sherry Wright; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at Ragland United Methodist with Bro. Ben Vernon and Bro. Doug Ford officiating.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at the church.  Interment will follow at Mt. Hebron West Baptist Cemetery in Elmore.

 In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Ragland United Methodist Church or to the Ragland High School Softball Team.
