Obituary of Jonnie Sue Jones Parton

Jonnie Sue Jones Parton, of Talladega was born on March 31, 1937 and entered into eternal rest on August 26, 2017. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega Monday August 28, 2017 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. Graveside Services will be 2:30pm at the Stockdale Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Bannister will officiate the service. She was preceded in death by her parents John Bryant and Nonnie Belle Jones, son James Christopher Parton and sister Jewel Thomas.

Mrs. Parton is survived by her husband Norman Parton, daughter Sherry Weaver (Mike), son Greg Parton (Regina), son Russ Parton (Miranda), daughter Melissa Sumner (Terry), son Mike Parton, Johnny Parton, granddaughters Misty Parton Smith and Ralee Bunt, grandsons David Weaver and Shane Parton, great-grandsons Cory Smith, Aaron Weaver, Cody Smith and Christian Bunt, great-granddaughter Amelia Grace Bunt and her sister Jenette Smith (Rodney). Serving as pallbearers will be Vinson Parton, Gary Parton, Tony Parton, Ryan Bunt, Randall Stewart and Ken Smith.
